Inspired by the Iberian landscape, the Sensoria Rio balneotherapy centre takes you on a journey through its atypical canyon scenery and numerous caves. Its natural spring water at 32°C invites you to enjoy the various pools and jacuzzis, with your family or with adults, summer or winter. Sensoria offers a wide choice of treatments, as well as a range of spa-inspiredhydrotherapy treatments.

A legendary resort in the Pyrenees, Saint-Lary has not escaped the development of the spa industry. But it has done so in its own way, in keeping with its identity.

As a valley open to the Spanish side thanks to the Aragnouet-Bielsa tunnel which links the Haute Vallée d’Aure to the Haut Aragon, it was only natural that it should choose an Iberian inspiration to develop its spa centre. Young and old alike can enjoy the pleasures of the waters in the original setting of an Aragonese canyon.
But the quality of the treatments is inspired by the spa.

Thermal play areas

Set against a backdrop of spectacularly shaped canyons, Sensoria Rio, the Eldorado for young and old alike, is guaranteed to thrill. In thermal water at 32°, whirlpools, geysers, waterfalls, counter-current swimming, bubble beds and jacuzzis nestle in caves and numerous nooks and crannies.

These effervescent water features are surrounded by transparent architecture. Younger children can discover the joys of canyoning in shallow pools (0.65 to 1.40 m) and benefit from special attention: armbands and water nappies are available free of charge.

The Rio atmosphere is now extended outside with a large 100 m2 shallow pool (1.30 m), complete with artificial waterfalls, designed for families and children aged 6 months and over.

An area dedicated to adults

Reserved for adults, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of an open-air thermal pool of over 50 m2, equipped with massage jets, water beds and sun loungers. It also offers access to a chromatherapy room, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi.

Treatments and massages

Sensoria offers a wide range of treatments, massages and other rituals, to be enjoyed à la carte or as part of a package lasting from 2 to 5 consecutive half-days.

Treatments are given in 3 solo cabins and 1 duo cabin for couples, couples, mothers and daughters, friends, etc.

The team of practitioners use thermal spring water, products from the ValVital range and natural plant oils.

Hydrotherapy

Alongside the classic treatments, Sensoria offers a range inspired by the spa: hydrotherapy. It allows you to enjoy the benefits of thermal water in all its forms: jets, steam, bubbles.

Hydrotherapy comes in the classic form of hydromassage baths or micro-bubble baths, which can also be found in other centres. The more original ‘ Pluie Thermale’ (thermal rain ) offers a relaxing massage with enveloping movements accompanied by fine droplets of rain delicately projected over the whole body. Similarly, the ‘Hydrojet ‘ consists of lying on a mattress containing several hundred litres of water at around 35°C.
