Arrival day

As soon as you enter the village, the picture postcard is revealed. Slate roofs watched over by the watchtower and the church perched high above, and in the background, the Génos-Loudenvielle lake with its mirror-like water reflecting the peaks.

Continuation of your stay

In Louron, everything can be done on foot. The Peyragudes ski slopes are just two shuttle stops and a ten-minute cable car ride away.

With your two-day ski pass, you can ski with peace of mind.

For relaxation, simply walk along the banks of the lake to Balnéa, where you can take a dip in the hot baths. Our little tip is to go there at nightfall for a slightly more magical atmosphere…

And before you set off again, take the time to wander through the narrow streets of Loudenvielle. Let the tempting smell of the emblem of local gastronomy, slow-cooked over a wood fire, guide you: the spit cake. Once you’ve tasted it, you’re sure to want to take a piece home with you.

Balnéa

On the edge of the lake and facing the mountains, Balnéa plunges you into a world of refinement and raw beauty. The water comes from naturally hot springs, the inspirations are far away, and the relaxation is varied…

The centre offers 6 areas: Roman with a 33° lagoon (jacuzzis, hammam, whirlpool baths, etc.), Tibetan with personalised treatments, Japanese with saunas and Inca, with outdoor baths. The Amerindian and Mayan areas are reserved for families.

Bed and breakfast in Loudenvielle

L’Auberge du Château has 2 beautifully decorated suites, each with a cosy atmosphere of wood and cosy duvets. Like a typical Pyrenean wooden chalet combining charm and sensuality, you’re guaranteed to relax!
There’s also a restaurant in the former sheepfold, where you can sample dishes made with fresh seasonal produce, as well as delicious desserts. Don’t forget to try the restaurant’s speciality: wood-fired grills to delight your taste buds.
An outdoor jacuzzi is also available to guests.
