The Grand Tourmalet is the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. On one side, the La Mongie massif, at the foot of the slopes; on the other, the Barèges massif and the atmosphere of an authentic Pyrenean village.

On the other side of the river, Balnéa, the Balneo centre, makes a strong impression, with its outdoor lagoons. It’s easy to reach from the footbridge that spans the river, to enjoy an open-air bath in the warm mountain water, with a view of the peaks.
