Day of arrival

Skiing and well-being for two

Your stay begins at Luz-Ardiden, where your spatulas will take you from panoramic ridges to wide, sunny slopes. Don’t miss the 5km-long Belle Bleue, which takes you through 2 of the 3 ski areas, from Aulian to Bederet. This is a great opportunity for skiers of all abilities to enjoy the panoramic views over the crests and the mountain restaurants. For thrill-seekers, head for the snowpark or the Bernazaou off-piste area .

At the end of the day, immerse yourself in the warm, soothing waters of the Luzéa balneotherapy centre. The fragrant vapours envelop you in softness and invite you to journey into a world of relaxation.

Gliding down the Grand Tourmalet

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for the Grand Tourmalet. The largest ski area in the French Pyrenees offers a wide variety of skiing, from beginner to high-mountain, including beautiful blue and red runs in the forest. Straddling the famous Col du Tourmalet, at the foot of the famous Pic du Midi, the scenery is ever-changing and panoramic. In fact, the trail of the same name promises a sensational discovery of the breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.

The slopes of Gavarnie

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll head off to Gavarnie for some skiing “à l’Unesco”. The pleasant ski area offers beginners and experienced skiers alike great descents in an exceptional landscape. The Cirque de Gavarnie is beautiful in winter. It can be seen from the village, but also from the top of the resort.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for Cauterets. One of France’s best snow-covered ski areas, Cauterets offers a wide range of skiing styles. Don’t miss the crest piste, a blue run offering panoramic skiing. Accessible by chairlift, the sides of this run are popular picnic spots.

After a day on the slopes, enjoy the serenity of the hot springs at Les Bains du Rocher spa centre.

Grand Tourmalet

The Grand Tourmalet is the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. On one side, the massif of La Mongie, at the foot of the pistes; on the other, the massif of Barèges and the atmosphere of an authentic Pyrenean village. With the Pic du Midi and its freeride descent, the Grand Tourmalet guarantees great skiing.

Gavarnie

The Cirque de Gavarnie is the world-famous mountain spot. In winter, the cirque’s reputation is built on the quality and beauty of its icefalls, which can be climbed by beginners and experts alike. The ski area is ideal for families, with exceptional panoramic views.
