Arrive and settle into your accommodation at the foot of the Pic du Midi. Dinner and overnight stay.

Skiing and snowmobile excursion

After breakfast with your family, enjoy a day’s skiing at the Grand Tourmalet, the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees, stretching out on either side of the famous mountain pass. There’s something for everyone: varied landscapes, wide slopes, from beginner to high mountain skiing with the Pic du Midi, and beautiful blue and red runs in the forest.

At the end of the day, you meet your guide for a snowmobile trip to the Col du Tourmalet.

Return to the hotel, have dinner and spend the night.

Winter adventure and walking

After breakfast, you’re off to“Vertige de l’Adour” for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of nature and to try out an original winter activity: via ferrata and Ice tyrolienne.

Before you leave, make the most of being in the valley to discover the beautiful site of Payolle, with its lake and pine forests.

Grand Tourmalet

The Grand Tourmalet is the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. On one side, the massif of La Mongie, at the foot of the pistes; on the other, the massif of Barèges and the atmosphere of an authentic Pyrenean village. With the Pic du Midi in its domain, and its freeride descent, the Grand Tourmalet guarantees great skiing.

Gîte auberge in Campan

Situated at the foot of the Pic du Midi, the gîte auberge welcomes you in summer and winter in a cosy atmosphere. The ground floor has a bar and a dining room where Karine and Gilles prepare a dinner using local and organic produce (Label HaPy Saveurs).

The gite auberge has 5 bedrooms for 2 to 4 people, each with en suite bathroom and toilet, and a 6-person dormitory.

This hotel is tucked away in the little village of Gripp, in the Grand Tourmalet valley. At the foot of the Pic du Midi, come and stay in a particularly cosy hotel with its lounge warmed in winter by the fireplace.
In summer, take advantage of the outdoor areas, children’s games or enjoy a lemonade while listening to the gentle sound of the river.
