With milder skies and sun-drenched slopes, spring in the mountains invites you to experience the ecstasy of skiing in ideal conditions. The last snowflakes mingle with the spring sunshine, creating the perfect backdrop for comforting days in the snow and long, beautiful evenings. Our all-inclusive spring ski breaks combine winter sports with wellness in a spa centre, to be enjoyed by two or with the kids.

Whether you’re a fan of wide-open spaces and freeriding or more the type of person who likes to hurtle down groomed runs, the snow conditions are ideal for extending your season! As every year, four ski areas are taking advantage of the mild spring sunshine in April. Ski until the 3rd at Grand Tourmalet and Saint-Lary, until the 18th at Piau-Engaly and even until the 24th at Cauterets.

Sunnier days

Don’t be afraid of the cold and bad weather this spring. So get out your sunglasses and sun cream and hit the slopes in the Hautes-Pyrénées resorts. After skiing, you can relax on the sunny terraces of the mountain restaurants: it’s time to soak up the sun!

Snow that's easier to ski

With the arrival of spring days, the snow cover changes over the course of the day, slowly transforming with the sun’s rays. It’s an ideal time of year for skiing on softer, easier snow that gives you better support. In such conditions, carving your turns becomes child’s play!

Ski touring

It’s the perfect time to try your hand at this sport and discover the Pyrenees from a different angle. Contrary to popular belief, ski touring is not an elitist sport, and whatever your level, there’s a route for everyone… So what are you waiting for?!
