You’ll love
The programme is given as a guide. The order of activities is up to you. For the Via Ferrata, book the time that suits you when you arrive!
Arrival at the residence
You will arrive in Cauterets and settle into your holiday residence, located in the centre of Cauterets. During your stay, you will have access to its spa (jacuzzi, sensory corridor, crushed ice fountain, hammam and sauna) and indoor swimming pool.
A walk along the waterfalls of Cauterets
It’s off for a day at Lac de Gaube. Access is by gondola and then chairlift. It’s a 10-minute walk to the lake. Situated in the heart of the National Park, it inspired our greatest romantic poets in the last century. You might even catch a glimpse of the Vignemale (3,298m), the highest peak in the French Pyrenees and the birthplace of Pyreneanism. There are plenty of trails for walkers of all abilities, lined with green forests, punctuated by torrents, waterfalls and lakes, and sheltering meadows and elegant isards. All you have to do is choose!

Animal encounters and balneotherapy
Today, you’re off to visit the large Parc Animalier des Pyrénées. Set on a hillside, it is home to over 600 animals of 100 different species, living in semi-liberty. You’ll see bears, wolves, marmots, deer, isards, otters, hinds… as well as some of Europe’s most beautiful birds. You can also discover the new species that have arrived: rock wallabies, a pack of dholes and siamangs.
To round off the day, relax in the spa at the Bains du Rocher. Giant chandeliers and damask curtains, jade floors and calade walls, pearly mosaics and glass beads… The outdoor lagoon, full of bubbling games, lets you bask on the rockside in water at 38°C.

Adrenalin on the Via Ferrata
Today, it’s vertical trekking with the Via Ferrata course, accessible to all. The feeling of weightlessness is yours! But don’t worry, you don’t need any special knowledge of climbing techniques. A cable known as a “lifeline” accompanies you at all times and allows you to walk along the wall at all times. So you’re completely safe and self-sufficient. 5 zip lines will take you from one rocky spur to the next.
