Pastoral traditions are still very much alive here, and farmhouse cheese is famous.

The Pyrenees Wildlife Park
Spend a special moment with the marmots and the 600 residents of the Parc Animalier des Pyrénées. Bears, wolves, isards, marmots, lynx, roe deer, otters, squirrels… around a hundred species live in semi-liberty on the hill reserved for the park. You’ll cross the valley of birds of prey, the large ungulate immersion park (ibex, mouflon, isard…), the deer combe, etc.

In the bubbles of the Jardin des Bains, you can enjoy the benefits of the warm, exotic waters. Enjoy the water gardens, the walking trail, the scented baths and the mysterious Inca well.

Le Jardin des Bains takes you on a journey through time and space. Transparency and a play of light between indoors and outdoors, large glass roofs and an invitation to explore the different atmospheres, whether plant, floral or mineral.
You’re in the heart of a unique environment, with sublime views over the pastoral valley and the Pyrenean peaks. Romanesque churches and old mills dot this valley known as the“Val de Lumière“. The Val d’Azun has 10 villages, 3 valleys, 4 passes, peaks, gaves, lakes, miles of trails and paths to discover. From the Balaïtous to the Gabizos or towards the tranquil Estaing lake, you’ll always find one of these magical spots where it’s good to relax.
The communal buildings combine stone and wood, while the chalets combine imitation Canadian wood and all-wood constructions with covered terraces offering exceptional panoramic views. For a moment of relaxation, the Cabana’Spa offers a jacuzzi, Nordic bath, sauna and overflow spa. Electric bikes, mountain bikes and mountain bikes are available for hire. In July and August, enjoy themed outings with a mountain leader and yoga sessions.
With a surface area of 35 m2, this accommodation can sleep 4 people and comprises a living room with fitted kitchen, a bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm) and a bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm). A sofa bed in the lounge area, a shower room – separate WC, a covered terrace; picnic table – barbecue – parasol – 2 folding sun loungers.
