Our treasure island

In the Baronnies
  • 160

Off the coast of the Pyrenees, this little-known destination offers the chance for the whole family to unwind, away from the crowds, less than an hour and a half from Toulouse, with original activities to suit all ages.

Teenagers can try their hand at wakeboarding, towed buoys or paddle boarding on the lake, before venturing onto a suspended course in the trees of the forest. They finish with a giant zip line after launching themselves from the top of an old water tower. There are 140 ladder rungs to climb to reach the starting point. Great views and thrills guaranteed!

Younger visitors will prefer to take on the Viking dragons, which appear like the prows of longships in the fumes of the Edenvik spa centre’s hammam. Then there are the moats and dungeons, which they can explore like knights in shining armour, before taking on the role of a tribe of prehistoric hunter-nomads to build a fire, try their hand at spear-throwing and cave painting.
