Day of arrival

Visit to Lourdes

You will arrive in Lourdes and settle into your hotel, situated in the hills above the town, offering a peaceful setting with refined rooms, a garden planted with trees and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

We then recommend that you explore the Sanctuary of Lourdes, which is freely accessible. You can soak up the sacred and benevolent atmosphere of the place, visit the basilicas, touch the rock of the Grotto and light a candle.

Day 1

Rafting and relaxation

On this day, we recommend an unforgettable rafting experience on the Gave de Pau. Whether you opt for a discovery or sporty descent, your instructors will guide you through the rapids and meanders of the Gave in a friendly, team spirit. Adrenalin and laughter guaranteed!

You can continue your day by relaxing at Lourdes lake. The setting is perfect for a contemplative break, a stroll or a swim. There’s an easy 6 km path with just 50 m of ascent to take you around in complete peace and quiet.

Day 2

A day of discovery

Leaving your hotel, we recommend a walk to the Lourdes fortress, where you can immerse yourself in the history of the town and enjoy a magnificent panorama over the valley.

To finish on a high note, take a trip to the caves of Bétharram. We recommend this fascinating visit, where nature has sculpted a veritable underground masterpiece. Draperies, calcites, stalactites and stalagmites will accompany you on a 5-storey tour.

The experience ends with a boat trip on an underground lake, followed by a 700 m ride on a miniature train.
