Tell us about your Hautes-Pyrénées.

A natural playground. Everywhere there are walks to discover, activities to enjoy and happy moments to share as a family. But also services, good tips and tricks to make organising your holidays easier. So you can make the most of it.

The ideal weekend for family fun?

A fun weekend. A B&B with a large bedroom to accommodate the whole family. During the day, a visit to an animal park to feed marmots, walks in the countryside, a bit of tree climbing and swimming. Of course, in the afternoon, don’t forget the afternoon snack of hot chocolate and blueberry pancakes”.

What’s your idea of a great, easy summer holiday?

In the valley, a big house for family get-togethers where the children play in the garden. My favourite way of making sure you don’t get bored is the Pass Louron. This card includes tickets for a whole host of activities at preferential rates and unlimited access to the aquatic centre. The children love to swim and frolic in the water while we, the parents, watch them from a deckchair. To punctuate the day, we all go for walks together to the small villages or around the lake, and we picnic by the stream.

What’s your favourite family outing?

Going to Cauterets Pont d’Espagne. By chairlift or on foot, depending on the day’s weather, to Lac de Gaube. A picnic, children running around, building the famous dam as a family, and on the way down looking for blackberries or bilberries”.

For families, the Louron Pass is a must!

I organise everything for family holidays in the snow

What do you offer families in winter?

Depending on their wishes and budget, I select accommodation: holiday village with kids’ club, large house, flat at the foot of the slopes… it all depends. As for the rest, I send the ski passes home before departure (or they’re delivered to the holiday accommodation), book the children’s ski lessons and the equipment for the whole family, and I can even add on spa treatments, a snowshoe outing or a dog-sled ride. When you arrive, everything is ready, all you have to do is put on your skis! This is an all-inclusive holiday!

An ideal weekend to enjoy the snow?

In the Val d’Azun! The kids have a blast on the Nordic Park toboggan run. It’s really easy, and the conveyor belt means you don’t have to pull your sledge up every 5 minutes! Snowball fights between parents and children and a competition to see who can make the most beautiful snowman. A perfect weekend in the snow”.
