The lifts take you to the summit, at 2400 metres, in less than ten minutes. Snowmaking equipment guarantees snow on 65 km of pistes while limiting the environmental impact. The Skyvall cable car links the valley to the foot of the slopes. Balnéa, the largest balneotherapy centre in the mountains, and the Mercure 4* hotel with Spa Nuxe offer luxury services just two minutes from Skyvall.
From the ridges, the view of Pyrenean peaks such as Spijeoles, Néouvielle and Posets is sublime. Further down, the resort and village respectPyrenean architecture and remain on a human scale. Controlled development includes environmental measures such as anti-pollution lighting, the Snowsat system, energy-saving snow guns, snow barriers, electric shuttles and hybrid snow groomers.
Accommodation, restaurants, nursery, family chalet, ESF and equipment hire are all on the snow front. Electric shuttles serve the more remote accommodation. The village, its lake and its spa centre are linked by the Skyvall cable car. The lifts provide direct access to the summit. The deckchairs bask in the sun and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The Skyvall
A cable car links the resort of Peyragudes to the village of Loudenvielle, its lake and Balnéa. In just ten minutes, you can reach the slopes or the peace and quiet of the Louron valley without a car. After a day on the slopes, relax at Balnéa or enjoy a drink at Chez Rogé, a local institution. The Friday belote evening brings holidaymakers and locals together for a not-to-be-missed event.

Not just skiing
Peyragudes offers classic slopes, a snowpark for experienced riders, the Family Park, and the Fun Slope with snow tunnels, bumps and banked turns.
Try your hand at snake gliss, airboard, fatscoot, Snooc and fatbike. After the slopes close, the snow front becomes a playground.
You can also take advantage of the zip line, spa centre, swimming pool, mountain biking, dog sledding and snowshoe circuits.

La Vallée Blanche trail
A must. A five-kilometre descent through a silent valley. A beautiful red run sheltered from the ski lifts that leads down into the Larboust valley, near Luchon.

Balnéa
Located in the magnificent Louron Valley, Balnéa is the largest balneotherapy complex in the French Pyrenees. It offers a journey through the “Baths of the World” (Amerindian, Incan, Roman, Japanese), with areas dedicated to the family and the rejuvenation of adults. Enjoy the natural thermal waters in an exceptional setting, facing the mountains and Lake Génos-Loudenvielle.

The Louron valley, a chic, unspoilt enclave
Discreet but not oblivious, calm but not sleepy, conservative but not backward-looking, innovative but respectful of its surroundings, the Louron valley has a little “chic and unspoilt enclave” about it in the Pyrenees. The natural setting is magnificent and harmonious. The lake sparkles against a backdrop of majestic peaks. The well-tended villages dot the soulanes. Each hides astonishing Romanesque chapels, precious treasures with splendid murals painted to thank God for the fruitful trade in leather and wool between this French valley and its Spanish neighbour. Spain is just around the corner, and some visitors can take advantage of this by going shopping or skiing on the slopes of Baqueira Beret, in the Val d’Aran, just three quarters of an hour from Peyragudes.
