Lake Suyen

This is the first mountain lake accessible to the whole family. In less than thirty minutes’ walk, this route plunges you into the heart of the beauty of the Pyrenees National Park!

Lake Gaube

The star of the Pyrenees! The route starts at the famous Pont d’Espagne and its magnificent waterfalls. The path, lined with Scots pine, quickly rises to reach the lake. When you reach the shore, the view of another of the Pyrenees’ celebrities, the Vignemale, is breathtaking. An absolutely unmissable route in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park!

Lake Isaby

The Hautacam‘s must-do family walk, this itinerary is unusual in that it starts off on a downhill section, making it the perfect place for a Sunday picnic! As easy as it is beautiful!

Lake Peyrelade

With the Pic du Midi de Bigorre towering above it, Lac de Peyrelade reflects the foothills and ridges of Pène Blanque. Relax on the edge of a peaceful lake, often less frequented than its nearby neighbour, Lac Bleu, with an approach walk between streams and waterfalls. It’s not unusual to see a ballet of birds of prey up there.

Lac de l’Oule

It only takes an hour to reach one of the best-known lakes in the area, formed at the gateway to the Néouvielle National Nature Reserve. With its 50m-high and 180m-long dam, the vast Lac de l’Oule is sure to impress. On its shores, a stopover at the eponymous refuge will do you a world of good at lunchtime or snack time. And if you want to enjoy a swim in this enchanting setting, don’t be afraid to walk along the right bank to the cabane de la Lude.
