From Gavarnie to the Néouvielle Nature Reserve, via the Pyrenees National Park, you can now take full advantage of the scenery without any apprehension.
Big sites, hillsides, more or less secret valleys, the mountain guides in the Hautes-Pyrénées are passionate, good-humoured and a bit of a tease. They’ll be happy to give you advice and share their wildest stories and anecdotes with you!
Each walk becomes a moment of meeting, sharing and conviviality that you won’t be able to get enough of.
Mountain guides
They lead and supervise individuals or groups in rural mountain areas, excluding glacial zones, rocky areas, canyons and terrain requiring the use of mountaineering equipment or techniques.
All skiing and related activities are excluded, with the exception of snowshoeing.
High mountain guides
Leads and accompanies people on mountain excursions and ascents in rock, snow, ice and mixed terrain, as well as on ski touring and off-piste skiing excursions.
They may also teach the relevant techniques. Lastly, they supervise and teach the practice of vertical and aquatic canyons requiring the use of equipment.
Not too long, not too far, not too steep… But still beautiful and exceptional. Your guide will find a walk to suit the level of your children. The programmes are adapted so that their little legs can keep up with the big ones. With games and animal spotting, the walks become as much fun as a real treasure hunt.
